Samsung has reportedly started producing the Galaxy A51 in India. According to a new report, the Galaxy A51 is being produced at Samsung’s manufacturing plant in Greater Noida, UP. The Galaxy A51 will succeed the Galaxy A50 and A50s, both of which were launched in India this year. As a successor to the Galaxy A50, we expect to see the phone offer a similar design but with upgraded internals.
91mobiles has reported on the Galaxy A51 production commencing in India. Beyond this, there is no concrete details about the smartphone. The Galaxy A51 was recently spotted on Geekbench with some specifications that cannot be verified for authenticity right now.
Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy A51 will feature the same Exynos 9611 chipset as the Galaxy A50s. It seems that Samsung will not upgrade the processor, but we may see improvements in the camera department. The Galaxy A51 may come with a 64MP triple camera setup using Samsung’s own GW1 sensor. To recall, the Galaxy A50s offers a 48MP triple camera setup.
Considering the Galaxy A51 will launch in early 2020, you can expect the phone to ship with Android 10 out of the box. The benchmark site also listed the smartphone with 4GB of RAM, but we suspect Samsung will also offer a 6GB RAM variant as well. The phone is tipped to come in silver, black and blue colours.
