Realme Narzo 30 launch date announced, to bring 48-megapixel cameras, 5000mAh
Realme Narzo 30 smartphone is finally arriving later this month. The Narzo 30 will be the third smartphone in the Narzo 30 series, under which the company has already launched two phones in India. They are the Narzo 30 Pro 5G and the Narzo 30A. At the time of their launch, Realme did confirm the Narzo 30 exists and that its launch would take place a bit later. The Realme Narzo 30 launch date is May 18 but it is happening in Malaysia. And ahead of the launch, an unboxing video of the Narzo 30 has gone live on YouTube, giving away the full look.
In a poster, Realme Malaysia has confirmed that Narzo 30 vanilla phone will arrive on May 18. In Malaysia, Realme has launched only the Narzo 30A, so technically, the Narzo 30 will be the market’s second phone in the series. Meanwhile, in India, Realme launched the Narzo 30A, the cheapest phone in the series, and the Narzo 30 Pro 5G, the highest-end phone with 5G in the series, earlier this year. What it did not launch was the Narzo 30. And even though Realme is finally bringing it to one of its markets, it is not immediately clear if Narzo 30 will come to India.
A YouTuber that goes by Mark Yeo Tech Review has posted an unboxing video of the Narzo 30 on his channel, in which he has shown off the design of the phone.
Right now, Realme is analysing the situation around its India launches because of the rising Covid-19 cases. The company even postponed its May 4 event to an unspecified date. The May 4 event was supposed to be around the company’s celebrations for the third anniversary. Realme was also expected to launch its new MediaTek Dimensity 1200-powered phone in India alongside a 43-inch 4K smart TV. It is only after this event that Realme may think about launching the Narzo 30 in India.
The Realme Narzo 30 will come with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 580 nits of brightness. The Narzo 20, its prequel, came with an HD+ display, so it is an important upgrade. The phone is going to use the MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which also powers the Realme 8. A Geekbench listing that surfaced earlier suggested there would be 6GB of RAM on the phone. However, Realme may launch a 4GB RAM variant, as well. Realme Narzo 30 will come with Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.
For photography, the Realme Narzo 30 may sport a 48-megapixel main camera on the back. There will also be a 2-megapixel black-and-white camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera accompanying it. For selfies, the Realme Narzo 30 may feature a 16-megapixel shooter. A 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging is also expected to be there. For charging, the phone will have a USB-C port and, for audio sharing, there will be a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Realme Narzo 30 will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
