Reacquainting with nature’s palettes in the upcoming seasons
Nature dominates seasons’ next
The issues of global warming have been in debate for many years now, with all the nature’s philanthropists, high-level scientists, and environmental experts trying to communicate the severity of this to the government leaders. It’s no more in denial that consumers’ perspectives have changed with what they buy, how they spend, and who they choose. From luxury brands to vocal for locals, every single business today somewhere has learned to respect Mother Nature and to keep Her in high regard. Moreover, some of the high-end brands are doing spectacular work out there to connect with their followers and consumers to get the best of nature. When art, fashion, and fragrances join hands, they can be at their best to convey the voice of Mother Nature, urging to conserve and sustain. Given are some artistic mergers one should make sure to check upon. Even if not to buy, just to feel the essence of the creation would be worthwhile in terms of keeping up with this futuristic endeavour.
Perfume panache Amongst the expert perfume connoisseurs, one is creating a legacy of unrivalled scents, having been treasured for seven generations and more to come. The leading “créateur parfumeur” and direct descendant of James Henry Creed, Olivier Creed continues this old tradition with more than 200 perfumes testified to a unique creative spirit of the house. This season, The House of Creed hosted a virtual music concert called VALIANT SOUNDS to launch their new Viking Cologne. The concert included artists like Junius, Gugusar, Logi Pedro, and Young Karin. These native musicians and performers set up their band in the middle of the beautiful, breathtaking South Coast of Iceland, with open landscape views of the Nordic nature and the arresting sound of the waterfall. The concert was streamed on Creed’s US website, to be viewed from the comfort of your home. June 1st was the launch of this brand-new fragrance from the exclusive Viking Range, showcased in the most glamorous way of embracing the Arctic sun as we leave winter and welcome a spring awakening. This was like getting the closest to its natural aroma and making the viewers feel in the proximity of the essence.
Creed is launching these nature-driven fragrances more than earlier. They are the pioneers of channeling the mystique of nature through mixing potent scents and aromas with different kinds of woody fragrances, the freshness of green Irish tweed, giving that unpreserved feel of misty mornings at Ardverikie Castle in Scotland, with silver moonlight gliding over snow-capped mountains.
Some scents from Creed will take you to ocean breezes and medieval views of Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy, while others will bring the daydreams of summer sailing adventures along with fragrant blooms that perfume gardens and sidewalks – invoking a sense of bliss from the long-awaited summer sun and its warmth. The core is all about nature and its beauty; feeling it right on your skin slipping into your nasal senses.
The miracle of flowers in perfumes
Perfumes are the little man-made bottles of fairy dust resembling nature, sprinkled and sprayed on us, mirroring nature’s beauty. In another recent campaign, a vintage French brand called Fragonard Parfumeur launched a beautiful range of fragrances inspired by the natural aromas of the Grasse region, extracted from the violets cultivated in the shade of olive trees in the small village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup in France. The lovely flowers are used for making small round bouquets, and from its leaves, an essence with a green and powdery scent is extracted. They also came up with another perfume from the exotic flowery scent of the passiflora – the passion flower, that originated from a densely hot and humid region. This flower loves to dance, showing off its sophisticated robe in an infinite whirl of color, at one with the sunshine, its generous-yet-subtle round fruit in delicate shades of purple unveiling an intense interior. The fruit’s juicy and acidic seeds are its hidden treasures and it loves the tropical climate.
Campaigns like these take you so deep into feeling nature and its creations. None other than the classic beauty brand Dior, this season dropped some immaculately captured natural elements for their perfume range. The recent fragrances of Dior exhibit the salts, sun, pale rocks, and lush vegetation. Their fragrances reflect the Cap d’Antibes’ exceptional location. The accords tell a Mediterranean story of marine air, flowers, and citrus fruits, and recall the aromatic scents of maritime pine trees. The perfume ‘Eden-Roc’ is a luxurious legend and a breath of fresh air of extreme sophistication and exquisite simplicity.
An unforgettable accessory
Perfumes are not only the reflection of your own personality but they also have a magical power to bring you back to revel in Mother Nature’s blessings. Getting your hands on long-lasting fragrances is like connecting with the beauty that nature holds and understanding the essence of preserving this so that we can cherish it for many more generations to come. Our future relies on each other and the kindness we show towards Mother Nature. We can only hope that the future generations will be wiser and more inventive than us to admire and show immense gratitude towards this beautiful gift that we call nature, just the way these brands are showing with their earthy admiration.
