Apple reveals battery capacity of all iPhone 13 models, iPhone 13 Pro Max said to pack a 4400mAh battery
We have just got the first look at iPhone 13 series battery sizes, thanks to a product information sheet posted on Apple’s behalf to the U.S. Chemical Transportation Centre (CTC). At the Apple event on September 14, Apple was quite vocal about the battery life in the new iPhone lineup.
Apple said that the iPhone 13 mini should achieve about an extra 1.5 hours of use on a single charge, and the iPhone 13 lasts up to 2.5 hours longer. The same increases were announced for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, compared to the respective iPhone 12 equivalents.
In the CTC document, Apple reported the battery capacities in Whr (Watt Hour) which is not a common specification for battery capacity used but the team at GizChina converted these figures to mAh for better understanding for most people.
Based on the above table, you can clearly infer that the whole iPhone 13 series is equipped with larger batteries when compared with their respective iPhone 12 models. However, this change in battery capacity is most noticeable in iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 with 18.5% and 15.1% more battery capacity respectively. The iPhone 13 Mini on the other hand only receives an incremental increase of 9% in its battery capacity compared with the iPhone 12 mini.
The iPhone 13 series supports 20W charging, just like the iPhone 12 family. Unfortunately, there is no charger included in the box. The phones only come with a Type C to Type C cable included.
